Work-Ordered Day

On a typical day, you will find members preparing the daily lunch, answering phones, editing in the video lab, working in our resale shop, entering data in the computer, or maintaining the grounds, to name just a few of the daily tasks.

Members may participate in one of the following Work Units:

• The Hospitality Unit is responsible for meal preparation (lunch is served daily), the Clubhouse Café, property maintenance, and the Welcome Desk.

• The Membership Unit handles visitor tours, new member orientation, the employment and education programs, and advocacy efforts.

• The Administration Unit is responsible for the member database, assisting with fundraising, finance, and operating the Magnolia Clubhouse Shop. 

• The Communications Unit (and its Media Lab) produce the daily in-house news program, promotional videos, and social media. 

At Magnolia Clubhouse, members discover their own path and work at their own pace.
